The fifth wedding anniversary is traditionally celebrated with wood. Rather than a wooden keepsake, an Arbora tree is a living expression of the years you’ve shared: grown from seed in our Wiltshire nursery, with a story that continues to grow alongside yours.
If the fifth anniversary is still ahead, you can request that day as a future Origin Date—the date the seed is sown—subject to our confirmation. Or search our Registry for an available tree already growing with a recorded date that matters to you.
If the tree isn’t ready to come home on the anniversary, we’ll arrange a personalised gift certificate so you have something to wrap and give on the day. We’ll care for the young tree until it’s safely established, then plan delivery with you around its development and the place it will grow.

Why give a tree for the fifth anniversary?
Wood is the traditional fifth wedding anniversary gift. An Arbora tree is a living way to honour that tradition: grown from seed, cared for in our nursery and ready to become part of the couple’s future.
Can the tree share our wedding date?
Search the Registry using your wedding date to see whether a tree shares it. Availability is limited and varies by date. You could also choose another date that means something to you.
Can I commission a tree to begin on our fifth anniversary?
If your fifth anniversary is still to come, you can request it as the tree’s Origin Date. Once the date and commission are accepted, the seed is sown on that day and its beginning is recorded in the Arbora Registry.
What can I give on the anniversary if the tree is still growing?
A personalised gift certificate can be arranged in advance for the agreed gift date, so there is something to open on the fifth anniversary while the tree remains in nursery care.
When will the living tree arrive?
We’ll help you plan when to welcome your tree home. For a tree already growing in the Registry, we can discuss delivery for the anniversary. If you’re commissioning a seed to be sown on the anniversary itself, give the personalised certificate on the day and look forward to the tree arriving after its time in our nursery.
