Search the Registry for the day they moved in or collected their keys. A tree’s Origin Date is the day its seed was sown. If an available tree shares their date, it carries a recorded connection to their new beginning. Only a small number are sown each day, so a match cannot be guaranteed.
If their tree needs more time in our Wiltshire nursery, we can arrange a personalised gift certificate so you have something to wrap and give. Talk with us about the species and their garden; we’ll plan delivery when the tree is established and its new setting is ready.

Can I find a tree sown on the day they moved?
Search the Registry by the day they moved in or received their keys. A match is possible only if a suitable tree was sown on that date and is still available. Its Origin Date records when the seed was sown, not when the tree was planted at the new home.
What if no Registry tree shares their moving date?
You can search for another date that matters to them, explore other available Registry trees, or ask about a Private Commission for a future date. We’re happy to help you choose.
What can I give if the tree is still growing?
A personalised gift certificate can be arranged so you have something to give at the housewarming while the tree continues to grow in our Wiltshire nursery.
What if the garden is not ready yet?
Tell us about their plans before choosing. We can discuss the tree’s development, the intended setting and suitable delivery timing; the tree needs a suitable home when it is ready to travel.
Can you help choose a tree for a smaller garden?
Yes. Space, soil, aspect and the intended setting all matter, so species suitability should be discussed before choosing a tree. Arbora can explain the collection and any relevant growing considerations.
