A wedding day is full of beautiful details, but the most meaningful gifts often have a life beyond the celebration. An Arbora tree gives the couple something living to welcome into their future together.
The tree’s Origin Date is the day its seed is sown. For a wedding commission, that can be a couple’s wedding date.
Once the commission is accepted and paid, we arrange a personalised gift certificate for the agreed occasion, so the couple has something special to unwrap. We confirm the wedding date’s availability before agreeing to sow on that day. The young tree remains in Arbora’s care until it is established, with delivery timing agreed around its development and the couple’s plans.

Can the tree begin on the couple’s wedding date?
Yes, a future wedding date can be requested as the tree’s Origin Date. Arbora reviews the date, species and commission before accepting it, and payment is required in full before planting.
What can I give the couple on the wedding day?
After the commission is accepted and paid, Arbora arranges a personalised gift certificate for the agreed gift date. You can wrap it for the couple to open on their wedding day. If the seed has not yet been sown, the certificate says it will be sown on the agreed date. Tell us the wedding date when you enquire so we can confirm arrangements in time.
When will the actual tree arrive?
A tree sown on their wedding day will be ready to join them for their first anniversary. We care for it in our Wiltshire nursery through that first year, then arrange delivery with the couple. If they’d prefer another date, we can plan that together.
Can the couple choose the species?
Yes. Our four core species are English oak, European beech, rowan and silver birch. Private Commissions can also request other varieties, subject to availability. We’ll help you or the couple choose a tree suited to its future home before sowing.
